Presentation: RAF Digby Operations Room, by Kathy Blake, who is a guide at the Operations Room Museum,
with illustrative items.
Presentation: Shagbats, by Mark Bamford, Chairman, Sleaford Museum.
The exploits of the Supermarine Walrus in Air Sea Rescue.
Tuesday 28th July 2026
Presentation: Operation Manna, by Paul Robinson. The airborne food drop into the Netherlands by the RAF in April and May 1945.
Presentation: Operations Doomsday and Eclipse: Norway and Denmark 1945, by Brian Riley. As Britain celebrated VE Day, British 1st Airborne forces were deployed to Norway and Denmark, to oversee the surrender of large German forces there, and at the same time to deter suspected Soviet advances on Denmark.

Biography: Sir Adrian Carton de Wiart, by Tim Sisson. Continuing our “biographies” series with a look at the 47-year military career of the “Un-killable Soldier”.

Presentation: Fly Navy, Walk Sideways - a Crab’s time with the Fleet Air Arm, by Chris Finn. Chris’s amusing and informative account of his time as an RAF pilot under the wing of the Senior Service.
Tuesday 27th October 2026
Presentation: Storm over Yorkshire, by James Handley.
James will present on the 1644 battle of Marston Moor, probably the largest battle ever fought on British soil, and will also display weapons and armour by way of illustration.
Tuesday 24th November 2026
Presentation: The Fall of Saigon – an Epic Tragedy, by Sean McCabe.
Sean concludes his highly popular Vietnam trilogy with an account of Saigon’s fall in April 1975, and an overview of the war. Sean will also display fully complete GI and NVA uniforms, possibly the only original complete set in the UK.
